Harold C. Slavkin, DDS

It is my great pleasure to serve as the 11th dean of the School of Dentistry and the very first dean of the 21st century. Through the imagination and innovations of our faculty, staff, students and alumni, USC dentistry has grown and evolved over the past 109 years with the City of Los Angeles, the region of Southern California, the State of California and beyond. Our mission remains to develop people through education, research, patient and community health, and service and leadership. For 109 years, we have worked to influence what is thought, what is taught and what is practiced in the oral health professions. That tradition continues.
